The Inventory

I have finally gotten around to doing a detailed inventory of all my lacquers (see link below). They are separated by brand (tabs on the spreadsheet) and then alphabetically organized. I've also included a description of each polish, either from the manufacturer website, or just my opinion.  You can see I am quite a big essie and butter LONDON fan, but Deborah Lippmann and Julep aren't far behind.  Check out the inventory below:

Where I buy my polish:
I tend to buy online at Amazon or Sephora. I also buy in store sometimes at Nordstrom (specifically butter LONDON and Deb Lippmann) when they have "buy 2 get 1 free" specials. They just had one this weekend actually (ends today at midnight, in store and online).

Happy Shopping!

love,
B

  1. Which brand do you think is best for lasting a long time and not chipping?

    1. Hi Alison! I don't think there is a specific brand that lasts longer than another. I think it is more about application technique and base/top coat. This tutorial (http://blog.julep.com/how-to-give-yourself-the-best-manicure/) by Julep is an excellent depiction of how to "cover the free end of the nail" in order to make your mani last. I also recommend adding more top coat every other day (as they say in the video) because it truly makes a difference. I try different top coats all the time, but my favorite is Seche Vite (http://www.amazon.com/Seche-Vite-Fast-Nail-Ounce/dp/B00150LT40). Even when compared to more expensive top coats, I find this one gives me more shine and a longer lasting mani. Hope this helps and that you are doing well :)
